An homage to the creatives in the LA Fashion District, this piece embodies the essence of the raw talent and diversity produced out of fashion and art in DTLA. The LA Fashion District takes pride in the fact that the people can wear many different hats in what they do. A photographer can be a model, a painter can be a photographer, a photographer can be a painter and so on. The female in the painting has a skull face to represent that beauty is a matter of perspective where something can be beautiful to one can be the opposite to another. The composition of the piece is set to where the camera is pointed to the sidewalk on Los Angeles Street to where viewers will want to stand to take photos and selfies of the mural.
